Gift Shop

Ridgeway has seen so many changes in the 10 years since Laura’s Tea Room has opened and so has our gift shop!  When we first opened I wanted to carry everything!  But as more shops came to join us in Ridgeway, we learned that we are a tea shop!  We carry many different kinds of tea, and will show you all we know about brewing it!  We also have wonderful china, of course!  Some of the other lines we carry are soaps and lotions, wonderful kitchen gadgets and towels, Vera Bradley purses, hand crafted aprons, teapot cozies, and other amazing crafted items!  We also carry some of the best quilts you will see anywhere!  But first and foremost we are a tea shop…and have everything tea!   Our displays are original to the shop from 1911 when it was built, they worked back then for groceries, clothing, tools and other necessary items….today they give us a bit of a challenge in displaying, but we love having you walk behind the counters and looking at our wares!

We are so fortunate in Ridgeway to have some wonderful shops besides ours for your browsing pleasure.  Right next door is Over The Top Boutique, across the tracks is our newest shop, Bella & Blue Boutique.   Right up the street from us is Ruff Hardware, our unofficial welcome center.  Across the street from the Hardware store is Old Town Hall Restaurant & Pub, serving lunch and dinner.  Next door to Old Town is Ruff Furniture, which I can personally highly recommend!  My husband and I recently moved to Ridgeway and we were blessed to have them help us with several new MADE IN THE USA furniture pieces.   Next is two of my favorite shops, and go to’s for gifts and dishes.  Palmer Street Market and Cotton Yard Market, well known up here as “the markets”  Palmer Street carries new gift items, and Cotton Yard is a great consignment shop.
